Description For Guest Experience Manager Entertainment Seasonal

Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a Guest Experience Manager for their Entertainment division to oversee and manage live show entertainment offerings across their parks and resorts. This seasonal role is crucial in maintaining Disney's high standards of guest experience and show quality.

The position involves coordinating and supervising various aspects of live entertainment, including Characters, Parades, Stage Shows, Disney Photo Imaging, Atmosphere, Conventions, and Special Events. The manager will work closely with performers, technicians, costuming teams, and various other departments to ensure seamless show operations and maintain creative vision.

Key responsibilities include show maintenance coordination, team leadership, scheduling management, and maintaining strong partnerships across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of professional experience in stage management or live show event management, along with proven leadership capabilities and technical knowledge of entertainment systems.

  • Oversee daily live entertainment offerings including Characters, Parades, Stage Shows, and Special Events
  • Coordinate and present shows while supervising performers, technicians, and other staff
  • Manage show maintenance including rehearsals, technical aspects, and coordination with various teams
  • Handle scheduling, payment, labor tracking and reporting tools
  • Build relationships and partner with multiple departments

Requirements For Guest Experience Manager Entertainment Seasonal

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in Stage Management, Convention Events, or live show event management
  • Minimum 3 years professional leadership experience
  • Experience leading multiple unionized teams
  • Knowledge of lighting, audio, special effects, and stage setup systems
  • Proficiency with multiple software/computer programs
