Lead Java Software Engineer

Disney Experiences (DX) is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to join their Disney Cruise Line HR Crew Systems organization. This role is crucial in transforming DCL Crew HR systems integration with Disney's Enterprise Human Resource Platforms. The position involves working with TWDC Human Resources & Technology partners in transitioning to a new global Human Resource Management System and upgraded SAP financial platform.

The ideal candidate will lead sophisticated software projects, interfacing with new HR systems, improving support channels, and driving company initiatives in the HR Crew space. They will translate functional business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to deliver best-in-class solutions.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing large-scale software systems, mentoring team members, and ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices. The role requires expertise in Java, SpringBoot, Angular, TypeScript, and cloud technologies, with a focus on creating scalable enterprise solutions.
