Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Hulu's recommendation and personalization algorithms. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning solutions that impact millions of users daily across platforms like Disney+, Hulu, ABC News, and ESPN+.

The position involves leading recommendation and personalization algorithm research, development, and optimization while collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Data teams. You'll be working on large-scale real-time recommendation pipelines, developing ETL processes, and managing petabyte-scale datasets.

  • Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch)
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Airflow, Databricks, S3, and Spark
  • Experience building and deploying full stack ML pipelines
  • 7+ years of experience in developing highly scalable machine learning products
  • 7+ years writing production-level, scalable Python code
