Lead Prompt Engineer, AI Solutions and Development

Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital is seeking a Lead Prompt Engineer for their AI Solutions and Development team. This role is part of the JedAI Platform team, reporting to the Sr Manager of AI Engagement. The successful candidate will be positioned as an expert in Generative AI across Disney Experiences, specifically in the emerging field of Prompt Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and refine prompts for various GenAI applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements
• Experiment with different prompt techniques to optimize model performance
• Evaluate and analyze AI model outputs, iteratively refining prompts
• Stay current with advancements in prompt engineering research and best practices
• Lead and mentor a team of prompt engineers
• Establish best practices and workflows for prompt engineering
• Develop and maintain a prompt library for knowledge sharing
• Manage project timelines and resources
• Represent the prompt engineering team in strategic discussions

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with relevant AI and ML engineering practices
• Proven track record in implementing successful prompt engineering strategies
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design for prompt optimization
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, HTML, and JavaScript
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
