Description For Lead Software Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Commerce, Growth & Identity (CGI) organization. This role is crucial in building innovative capabilities that drive subscriptions, engagement, and monetization across Disney's streaming and digital products. The position focuses on developing experiences across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+ built on a common platform and shared technology.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in building highly scalable web applications and expert knowledge in Javascript, Typescript, and React. They will be responsible for leading projects, architecting solutions, and mentoring senior developers while working on core sign-up, purchase, and subscription management experiences of the Web platform.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $152,200 to $223,600 depending on location and experience, plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
