Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow

The Business Technology Platforms group is part of the Enterprise Technology Core Systems & Platforms organization. We are responsible for the products and platforms that support Disney's corporate business functions and enterprise service management platforms (Appian, Salesforce, & ServiceNow). We are looking for a Lead ServiceNow Software Engineer to ensure that we are building outstanding products, and continuously maintaining and enhancing existing products to improve what differentiates us from others.

As a Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, you will:

• Own the development of medium to large, innovative software solutions and projects
• Manage oversight of platform projects and related agile delivery teams
• Design component tasks of software development projects and set technical architectural direction
• Act as a peer group leader to help train staff on Software Engineering standards and processes

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in a Software Engineering role
• Validated experience developing solutions in the ServiceNow platform
• Ability to develop with advanced JavaScript, Angular, Unix Shell, and Windows PowerShell scripts
• Experience with platform automation, workflows, APIs, and Scripted Rest API Framework
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best methodologies
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related discipline
• Experience with SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors
