Description For Lead Technical Program Manager (Identity)

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology (DEET) is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to join their Identity team. This role is crucial in reimagining how Disney creates magical viewing experiences while redefining their media business for the future.

The position sits within Business Operations, responsible for global program management, capital management, and resource prioritization. As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you'll be handling complex projects in Software Engineering from initiation through closure, applying Agile and Scrum practices.

Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans, managing complex dependencies, driving risk mitigation, and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to rationalize strategic roadmaps and provide clear reporting to leadership.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of technical project management experience in large-scale, strategic programs within a global technology organization. Strong leadership competencies, technical experience, and communication skills are essential. Experience with industry-standard delivery management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and AirTable is required.

Disney offers a competitive compensation package, with base salary ranges from $152,200 to $213,900 depending on location, plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.
