Description For Manager, Consumer Insight, Analytics and Modeling

At Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, we make magic happen. The Consumer Insights, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) organization plays a crucial role in informing strategy through data analytics and consumer insights. As a Manager of Consumer Insight, you'll be part of the Walt Disney World Consumer Insight Team, focusing on Pricing and Annual Pass Research. You'll be responsible for creating breakthrough insights that drive business strategies, conducting advanced statistical analysis, and implementing innovative data solutions. The role combines technical expertise in data analysis with business acumen, requiring skills in quantitative research, statistical software, and effective communication. You'll work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance guest experiences across Disney's theme parks, water parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs. This position offers the unique opportunity to impact one of the world's most beloved entertainment brands while working with cutting-edge analytics tools and methodologies. The role is based in Celebration, FL, offering a chance to work in a picture-perfect community founded by The Walt Disney Company, just 25 minutes southwest of Orlando.

Responsibilities For Manager, Consumer Insight, Analytics and Modeling

  • Integrate multiple sources of information to provide holistic perspectives and recommendations
  • Create and execute quantitative research projects to inform pricing strategies
  • Conduct in-depth advanced statistical analysis on existing data
  • Lead consumer insight projects with personal accountability
  • Develop relationships with internal partners and manage external vendors
  • Communicate findings in an easily understandable and actionable way

Requirements For Manager, Consumer Insight, Analytics and Modeling

Python
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in research
  • Understanding of travel industry and business performance metrics
  • Experience in quantitative research design, analysis, and interpretation
  • Experience in data analytics and large data sets manipulation
  • Proficiency with statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R, Python)
  • Strong data visualization skills with PowerPoint (Tableau is a plus)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders and executives
