Description For Manager, Incident Management

Disney Direct to Consumer (DTC) is seeking a Manager of Incident Management to join their Viewer Experience team. This role combines technical leadership with team management, overseeing incident response for Hulu and Disney+ streaming services. The position requires a strong technical background with 7+ years of experience in incident management or similar technical operations. You'll lead a team of 3+ analysts while managing critical incidents, providing executive-level communications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role offers an opportunity to work with premium streaming services and contribute to Disney's direct-to-consumer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical architecture understanding, proven project delivery experience, and excellent leadership skills. This position is based in San Antonio, Texas, working with Disney's streaming technology ecosystem.

  • Provide regional and executive-level visibility to statuses of issues
  • Function as liaison and escalation point of contact

Requirements For Manager, Incident Management

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • 7+ years in incident management, critical issue engineering or technical operations
  • Experience leading teams in Incident Management space
  • Experience managing technically focused analyst team
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture for systems
  • Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Skills in reporting data and analytics
