Description For Manager, Technical Project Management

Disney Experiences is seeking a Manager of Technical Project Management to join their team in Orlando, Florida. This role will be responsible for leading a team of technical project managers who power the magic behind Disney's world-class vacation experiences. The position involves managing sophisticated software development projects, conducting health assessments, and ensuring successful project delivery across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale projects with budgets between $10M-$50M. They will be responsible for mentoring project managers, monitoring project scopes, and ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining clear communication with executive leadership.

Requirements For Manager, Technical Project Management

  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing technology project delivery teams
  • Minimum 5 years leading diverse project teams
  • Experience managing project budgets of $10M to $50M
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced skills in project management tools (MS Planner, MS Project, Excel, Jira, SmartSheet)
  • Minimum 3 years of Agile delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
