Responsibilities For Media Performance Engineer II, Distribution

  • Streamline CDN operational workflows
  • Manage and monitor CDN performance and availability
  • Implement and configure CDN solutions
  • Provide real-time visibility into active and historic CDN traffic
  • Work closely with other IT professionals to design and deploy CDN solutions

Requirements For Media Performance Engineer II, Distribution

  • Bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent work experience
  • CDN experience and their relation to network operations, transit, and peering
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Live Video Streaming Systems
  • Understanding of the live and VOD content delivery life cycle
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to interfacing with OTT and mobile devices
  • Awareness of network-level tools
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • Basic proficiency in data structures (SQL)
