The role requires a seasoned professional with at least 3 years of leadership experience in live show/theatrical production or event management. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen for budget creation and management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders including creative teams, external clients, and various Disney departments.
Key responsibilities include developing event budgets, managing production timelines, coordinating with the Central Florida Oversight Tourism District for permits and safety compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact for incoming requests. Responsibilities For Production Manager, Scenic Arts, Disney Event Group
- Drive production processes and financial success of assigned shows and events
- Monitor project status, deliverables, timelines, schedules, budgets
- Develop event budgets and proposals
- Lead event production process and serve as communication point
- Partner with DEG Creative Team and other departments
- Handle permitting and safety liaison with Central Florida Oversight Tourism District
- Support Producer and Art Directors in meeting project objectives
Requirements For Production Manager, Scenic Arts, Disney Event Group
- 3+ years professional leadership in live show/theatrical production
- Experience in budget creation and financial management
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- B.A. or B.S. in Theater, Design, Entertainment, Event Management, Project Management, or equivalent preferred
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and third shift as needed
