The Global Information Security (GIS) organization works to secure Disney's magic by implementing best-in-class services to assess, prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats.

As a Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in protecting Disney's vast digital landscape. You'll work within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure security is built into applications from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include performing secure code reviews, security testing, and vulnerability management across various Disney applications. You'll collaborate with software engineering teams to address security risks and provide mitigation recommendations.

The ideal candidate brings 3 years of cybersecurity experience, strong programming skills (particularly in Python), and experience with CI/CD security integration. You'll need excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of security tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST) and cloud security principles is highly valued.

This remote position offers a competitive salary range of $99,600 to $153,500, plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Security Engineer

Requirements For Security Engineer

  • 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or related IT disciplines
  • Programming/scripting skills with Python
  • Experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field
