Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their Planning & Sustaining Team at Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES). As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll provide crucial engineering services supporting capital improvement projects for utility systems, ensuring alignment with department strategy and goals. You'll be the primary asset owner responsible for sustainment and strategic planning of process control and communication systems.
The position requires deep expertise in control and automation systems, with responsibilities including developing standards, implementing automation solutions, and maintaining critical infrastructure. You'll work with various systems including Central Energy Plants, Utility monitoring, HVAC, and water treatment plants.
Key technical areas include PLC programming, instrumentation, AutoCAD, and system integration. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to balance evolving priorities while maintaining productivity. You'll be part of ensuring the reliable operation of Disney's vast utility infrastructure.
