Description For Senior Facility Mechanical Engineer- Facility Asset Management(FAM)

Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a Senior Facility Mechanical Engineer to join their Facility Asset Management team in Orlando. This role involves supporting the entire WDW Orlando property, including all Facility Operation Services organization and occasional Operating Teams. The position focuses on development of future year work, ongoing project oversight, and providing high-level technical support to clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for design reviews, calculations, engineering drawings, and field installation support for various mechanical systems including HVAC, boilers, pools, and kitchen equipment. They will play a crucial role in preventing attraction downtimes through effective troubleshooting and maintenance strategies.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll work directly under the Manager of Programs Project Design Support, implementing tools and methodologies to streamline design processes, enhancing troubleshooting capabilities, and developing comprehensive asset management strategies. The role requires staying current with industry standards and leading technology advances.

  • PE License
  • Minimum 7+ years experience in design of HVAC equipment
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in using Engineering and Design software (AutoCAD or Revit)
  • Experience leading processes and solving complex problems
  • Experience partnering with collaborators and customers
