This role involves providing engineering oversight for nearly 40 square miles of utility infrastructure serving the Walt Disney Company. Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Review construction plans for utility infrastructure
- Develop and manage utility master plans and technical specifications
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies on permitting
- Support daily utility operations with engineering expertise
- Review and update Preventative Maintenance work orders
- Identify opportunities for improving operations efficiency
- Develop short and long-term Capital Improvement Plan programs
- Perform system condition assessments
Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Active registration as a Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8+ years of experience in industrial or utility mechanical system design
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited institution
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
- Knowledge of construction methods and ability to interpret design drawings
- Must be available to work outside normal hours for emergencies
- Ability to work in various environments including outdoors
