Description For Senior Ride Project Engineer

The position requires leading a Ride Engineering team through all phases of ride system development, from concept through testing and handover. Key responsibilities include leading 'clean sheet' concept design of innovative ride systems, managing vendor relationships, overseeing installation and testing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have 5+ years of engineering experience, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a track record of delivering complex technical projects. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, and experience in the amusement industry is preferred. Responsibilities For Senior Ride Project Engineer

  • Serve as the Ride Studio representative on the project core team
  • Work with Creative directors to develop requirements from high level experience/story descriptions
  • Lead 'clean sheet' concept design of innovative new Ride systems
  • Lead the Ride team's business interests
  • Lead technical design reviews and system safety design process
  • Run vendor design, fabrication and commissioning activities
  • Lead site installation and testing work

Requirements For Senior Ride Project Engineer

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering field
  • Five or more years of engineering professional experience
  • Experience as the leader of a technical team
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and vendor management
  • Hands-on experience with equipment mockups, prototypes, fabrication
  • Experience with life safety design/requirements
  • Strong technical skills with ride systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large team environment
