Senior Software Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Ad Intelligence team within the Ad Platforms organization. This role is crucial in transforming advertising and Disney's Ad platform with data and AI across TV and streaming video. The position focuses on building and maintaining high-performance, distributed, microservice-based Advertising Platform across all Disney online properties, including Hulu and ESPN+.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing components of large-scale data platforms for real-time and batch processing, while also building next-generation cloud-based big data infrastructure. They will work with technologies like Spark, Flink, Singlestore, and Kafka, while contributing to best engineering practices including CI/CD and code review.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $203,900 depending on location, plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits. This is an opportunity to work on systems that reach millions of consumers daily across major platforms like Disney+, Hulu, ABC News, and ESPN+.

The position requires 5+ years of professional programming experience and 3+ years of big data development experience. The successful candidate will join a strong cross-domain team delivering E2E solutions covering machine learning, big data, microservices, and data visualization.
