Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer
- Validate software updates for Disney's media processing applications
- Develop software using Python for encoding workflow automation
- Work with ESPN broadcast engineers on software releases
- Provide code updates for bug fixes and features
- Facilitate activities for gathering information and metrics
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years working in the streaming industry
- Advanced understanding of video/audio processing and streaming standards
- 5+ years experience developing software with Python, C/C++
- 5+ years experience developing test and workflow automation
- Experience working in Agile software development
- Advanced experience with Linux
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience testing Object-Oriented software
- Excellent communication skills
