Description For Senior Software Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Tooling Ecosystem (TECO) team. This role is crucial in managing and enhancing the Content Portal and CoCo applications, which provide mission-critical operator functionality for streaming metadata maintenance.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and entertainment, building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers Disney's media, advertising, and distribution businesses. You'll be part of a team that reaches millions of consumers daily through platforms like Disney+, Hulu, ABC News, and ESPN+.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and building robust software applications, with a focus on UI/UX framework components and libraries. The role requires expertise in frontend development, particularly with React and JavaScript, and experience with REST and GraphQL services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor other team members, and contribute to improving the overall performance of the applications.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,038 to $199,870 depending on location and experience, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of web development experience, strong expertise in building consumer-facing single-page applications, and a track record of delivering high-performance solutions.
