Senior Software Engineer, Ad Platforms

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Ad Platforms organization. This role is part of the Forecasting team, which supports Ads Inventory Forecasting business requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in big data and solid expertise in backend services or full stack development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a team of big data and backend engineers to deliver high-value projects
• Build components of large-scale data platforms for batch and real-time processing
• Develop next-gen cloud-based big data infrastructure for batch and streaming data applications
• Balance architectural and design considerations such as performance, scalability, reusability, and flexibility
• Advocate for best engineering practices, including design patterns, CI/CD, code review, and automated testing
• Collaborate with researchers to productize cutting-edge innovations at scale
• Work closely with program managers, product managers, SDET, and researchers in an open and innovative environment
