Description For Senior Software Engineer - Front End/Roku

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Living Room Devices, Roku Client Application Engineering Team. This role is crucial in building Direct-to-Consumer client apps like Disney+, Star+, ESPN and Hulu on Roku streaming devices and smart TVs.

The position requires expertise in BrightScript development and the ability to create exceptional viewing experiences. You'll be responsible for developing new application features, from onboarding to browse UI/UX experiences, analytics, and video playback UI/UX. The role extends beyond Roku apps, offering opportunities to work with JavaScript & React-based web tools, gulp build scripts, AWS configurations, and Node.js services.

As part of Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, you'll be at the forefront of reimagining how magical viewing experiences are created for the world's most beloved stories. The team is focused on evolving streaming and digital products in immersive ways, powering worldwide advertising and distribution, and delivering unmatched entertainment and sports content.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $203,900 depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and bonus opportunities. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - Front End/Roku
