Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Commerce, Growth, and Identity Fraud team. This role focuses on building solutions to identify, prevent and catch payment fraud while contributing to the expansion of their risk platform. The position involves working with machine learning teams, various third-party services, and global data sets.

The role is part of the Commerce, Growth, & Identity (CGI) team, which is crucial for transforming Disney's media business. They create seamless user experiences for consumers across various subscription plans and build innovative capabilities to drive subscriptions, engagement, and monetization across Disney's streaming and digital products.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be working in a highly multi-functional environment, collaborating with Product, Information Security, Data, Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, and various other functions. The position requires expertise in building scalable systems, working with cloud technologies, and implementing both frontend and backend solutions.

The role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects at massive scale, as Disney's platforms serve millions of consumers every day across properties like Disney+, Hulu, ABC News, and ESPN+.   • Design and implement tier-1 microservices in Java and/or Scala
