Senior Software Engineer – Machine Learning

Enterprise Technology at Disney is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI/ML Team to develop AI applications and services across Disney segments. This role involves developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing ML pipelines, and staying updated with the latest AI advancements. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Python, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, deep learning, vector databases, sentence transformers, reinforcement learning, cloud computing, and data engineering. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions for various Disney businesses and brands, including Disney Studios, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, ESPN, ABC, Marvel Studios, and Pixar.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for various applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions • Optimize and maintain machine learning pipelines and workflows • Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI

Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience • Proficiency in AI development using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, NLP, computer vision, deep learning, vector databases, and reinforcement learning • Experience with cloud platforms and data engineering tools
