Description For Senior Software Engineer-Media Streaming

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Media Streaming team. This role is crucial in building and innovating world-class content platforms that support content delivery for major brands like Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, ABC, Marvel and National Geographic.

The position involves working with cutting-edge streaming technology and media supply chain solutions. You'll be part of a team that designs, implements, and tests scalable solutions enhancing Disney's diverse suite of products and services. The role requires expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll collaborate across the organization to create POCs, drive automation, and develop service-based architectures. You'll work closely with other Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Product Owners, and various stakeholders to plan, design, and implement workflows for a lean, fast-paced media supply chain.

The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated developer with strong organizational and communication skills. You'll be working in a dynamic environment where you can see your applications and workflows implemented and utilized by end users, integration partners, and coworkers. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $138,900 to $186,200 per year, plus benefits and potential bonuses.
