Sr Data Engineer

The Disney Decision Science + Integration (DDSI) organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on theme-park related internal initiatives. As part of the Data Engineering team, you'll be responsible for partnering with Decision Science Products, Decision Science, Client and Technology teams to provide data pipeline and database engineering services. The role involves developing and maintaining ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting various development projects.

The position is based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, working with technologies including PostgreSQL, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab. You'll be part of a team that leverages technology, data analytics, optimization, and statistical modeling to drive business value across The Walt Disney Company's various segments including Parks & Resorts, Consumer Products, Studios Content, and ESPN.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data engineering, database design, and programming, combined with the ability to understand business domains and communicate effectively with non-technical team members.
