Description For Sr IAM Platform Engineer

At Disney, we're seeking a Senior IAM Platform Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) group within Enterprise Technology. This role is crucial in delivering technology solutions that align with business strategies while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. The position involves working with cutting-edge IAM technologies and platforms used across Disney by cast members, employees, and partners.

As a Sr IAM Platform Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of Disney's IAM Transformation program, working with various engineering teams to support custom-developed solutions and products. You'll be responsible for developing automation scripts, implementing vendor-based IAM products, and ensuring seamless integration of IAM services across the enterprise.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $126,400 to $177,600 depending on location and experience, plus additional benefits including medical coverage, bonus opportunities, and long-term incentives. You'll be working with world-class teams in either Orlando, Burbank, or Seattle, contributing to the technology infrastructure that powers one of the world's leading entertainment companies.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of IAM experience, strong technical skills in various programming languages, and deep knowledge of identity and access management protocols. You'll need to demonstrate expertise with tools like Okta, Active Directory, and other enterprise IAM solutions, while maintaining excellent communication skills to work effectively with partners at all levels.

Responsibilities For Sr IAM Platform Engineer

  • Participate in Disney's IAM Transformation program
  • Develop automation scripts for IAM service offerings
  • Implement and transform vendor-based IAM products and platforms
  • Plan and complete technical integration projects
  • Define & maintain platform engineering processes
  • Work with architects and vendors to ensure alignment with Enterprise Technology strategies
  • Evaluate and improve service/product capabilities

Requirements For Sr IAM Platform Engineer

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting IAM, enterprise platforms, and/or collaboration ecosystems
  • Experience with Okta, Active Directory, Ping, SailPoint, BeyondTrust implementations
  • Experience with Identity Federation, HCM tools, IAM Data Integration, PAM & IGA
  • Knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP, FIDO2 & Kerberos
  • Experience with scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Okta Certifications (Professional & Administrator)
