Sr Manager, Communications - OTE & Disney Accelerator

The Communications team for Disney Entertainment & ESPN is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Communications to support the Office of Technology Enablement (OTE) and Disney Accelerator program. This role will focus on communicating Disney's innovation initiatives in AI, Mixed Reality (XR), and emerging technologies. The position demands a dynamic 360-degree communicator who can handle external, internal, leadership, and technical communication across various topics.

The role involves working with the VP of Communications to support year-round communications objectives for both OTE and Disney Accelerator groups. Key responsibilities include developing and executing communications strategies, creating visual and written content, and managing strategic positioning and messaging. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the technology sector, particularly emerging technologies, and experience in both corporate and startup environments.

The Office of Technology Enablement (OTE) was established to position Disney as a progressive leader in areas like AI and Mixed Reality, fostering innovation across the company. The Disney Accelerator Program selects venture-backed startups to access Disney's creative expertise and resources, helping develop new entertainment experiences and products.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $137,200-$183,900 per year, with additional benefits including bonus potential, long-term incentives, and comprehensive medical benefits. The role is based in Burbank, CA, known as the "Media Capital of the World," where Disney's main headquarters is located among 1,000+ media and entertainment companies.
