Sr Principal Software Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Sr Principal Software Engineer to join their Identity Engineering organization. This role is crucial in shaping the technical direction and best practices across the organization, focusing on Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) capabilities. The position involves working with high-traffic, globally replicated systems that are integral to user experiences across Disney's platforms including Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, Parks, and Cruises.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting technical and architectural direction, helping teams execute effectively, and providing subject matter expertise. They will work within an engaging engineering organization that promotes agile practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role requires expertise in cloud computing, distributed systems, and identity management standards.

The role offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $213,100 to $285,700, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives.
