Sr Software Engineer

Join Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology as a Senior Software Engineer on the Commerce, Growth & Identity (CGI) team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions for Disney's streaming platforms. This position focuses on building and implementing features that drive subscriptions, engagement, and monetization across Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

As part of the newly established CGX Team, you'll work on innovating commerce and growth experiences using data-driven decision-making and experimentation. The role involves close collaboration with Product Management, Design, and Engineering teams to create experiences that enhance customer value and business growth.

The position offers an opportunity to work on systems that reach millions of users worldwide, contributing to the future of entertainment and sports streaming. You'll be responsible for implementing customer-facing features, conducting A/B tests, and ensuring high performance and scalability of the systems.

Key technical requirements include strong programming skills in Java or Scala, experience with distributed applications on AWS, and familiarity with A/B testing. The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
