Sr Software Engineer

Disney Experiences is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Tech Delivery, Platforms, & Core Systems organization. This role focuses on engineering and automating solutions to support new platforms and tools for the modernization and improvement of CI/CD, Cloud Services & Reliability initiatives. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the magic of Disney's digital experiences.

The role involves significant work with Terraform, Python, and shell scripting, with 50% of time dedicated to scripting new tools and terraform module creation. Another 25% focuses on Harness.IO implementation and automation, while the remaining time is spent on documentation and organization. The position requires strong technical skills in cloud computing, system design, and infrastructure automation.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading small projects, designing scalable solutions, and working closely with business units to deliver platform capabilities that support current and emerging technologies. The role demands excellent communication skills, as you'll be interacting with various stakeholders and presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The position offers competitive compensation, with salary ranges varying by location (Glendale/Anaheim: $138,900 - $186,200, Seattle: $145,400 - $195,000), plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
