Sr. System Reliability Engineer

The Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team plays a crucial role in elevating SRE practices throughout The Walt Disney Company, focusing on new technology adoption, complex problem-solving, and next-generation digital platform integration.

As a Senior SRE, you'll be part of the IAM SRE engineering team, helping create and deliver amazing experiences for Disney's guests, fans, and businesses. Your role will involve designing and implementing development pipelines, automating infrastructure and operations, establishing monitoring systems, and ensuring high reliability while maintaining security best practices.

The position requires expertise in Linux and Windows administration, strong software development skills in languages like Python, Go, or Java, and experience with CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and container technologies. You'll work in a collaborative, high-energy environment alongside engineering, creative, and production teams to architect solutions, gather requirements, and provide excellent customer support.

Key responsibilities include translating ideas into tangible products, focusing on automation, resilience, and performance management. You'll serve as a subject matter expert, participating in tech talks and conferences. The role involves significant collaboration with various teams, applying scientific approaches to continuous improvement, and maintaining a high-accountability trust culture.
