As a Lead Security Solution Architect, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing security strategies that protect Disney's systems, data and applications from cyber threats. You'll conceptualize and develop solutions to improve security posture and lead projects from conception through implementation. The position requires deep technical expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, cloud platforms, and security tools, combined with strong leadership abilities to mentor team members and influence stakeholders.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders to ensure security solutions meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting architectural reviews, leading risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and establishing security policies and standards. The role requires staying current with emerging threats and technologies while maintaining strong relationships across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of IT experience with deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, cloud security, and enterprise architecture. Responsibilities For Staff Security Specialist, Information Security - Lead Security Solution Architect
- Design and develop solutions for complex systems that meet company security requirements
- Lead security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and control gaps
- Develop mitigation strategies and integrate them into overall architecture
- Establish relationships with business stakeholders
- Lead the development of execution plans for security goals
- Educate and influence business leaders on security considerations
- Partner with peers to establish security policies and standards
- Analyze and evaluate system design improvements
- Lead evaluation of third party service provider integrations
Requirements For Staff Security Specialist, Information Security - Lead Security Solution Architect
- 10 years of related IT experience
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO27001)
- 7+ years experience as lead security solution architect
- Strong understanding of security tools (SIEM, firewalls, anti-malware)
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Security accreditation (CISSP, GCIH, CISM, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field
- Working knowledge of PCI and privacy regulations
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
