Responsibilities For Systems Engineer II Broadcast

  • Lead or aid with evaluation, development, design, operation, installation, testing of video/audio systems
  • Provide technical reports on work progress to partners and staff
  • Utilize test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Assist with project research, planning, implementation and documentation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Provide on-call support and occasional weekend/overnight maintenance

Requirements For Systems Engineer II Broadcast

Linux
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional Broadcast and/or IT experience
  • Highly proficient in English
  • Knowledge of video backhaul and distribution
  • Ability to troubleshoot audio/video issues over IP networks
  • Proficient with Mac, Windows, and Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Experience with video/audio routing switcher hardware
  • Understanding of A/V signal flows and network topology
  • Ability to read and modify system design documentation
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
