Disney Cruise Line, a premier name in the cruise industry, is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to join their team in Celebration, Florida. You'll be responsible for monitoring planned maintenance processes, ensuring proper documentation, and managing the supply chain for parts and services. The position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including USCG, Lloyd's Register, and US Public Health, ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards.

Responsibilities For Technical Operations Manager

  • Lead Hotel equipment maintenance support for Disney Cruise Line Fleet and island destinations
  • Monitor planned maintenance processes and documentation procedures
  • Ensure timely supply of required parts, services or replacements
  • Undertake ship and island based condition assessments
  • Provide guidance to Fleet Engineers and island maintenance teams
  • Assist with departmental budgets
  • Liaison with USCG, Lloyd's Register, and US Public Health
  • Supervise compliance with technical aspects of regulations
  • Plan and execute external vendor related maintenance and inspections

Requirements For Technical Operations Manager

  • 5 years within Marine Engineering maintenance related field
  • Ability to read and understand OEM technical publications
  • Experience with electronic maintenance software
  • Understanding of USPH Vessel Sanitation Plan requirements
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering
  • Ability to work in areas of increased temperatures
  • Ability to manually lift weights up to 25Kg / 55Lbs
