Description For Technical Project Manager II

As a Technical Project Manager II, you'll be at the forefront of developing video experiences for the Disney Streaming platform, working with Program and Engineering managers to deliver best-in-class consumer applications.

The role involves managing multiple concurrent projects with distributed engineering teams, maintaining roadmaps aligned with product priorities, and serving as the crucial interface between Product and Engineering teams. You'll be responsible for coordinating complex technical initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery, and fostering transparent communication across global teams.

Responsibilities For Technical Project Manager II

  • Develop and maintain team roadmap aligned with product priorities
  • Execute multiple concurrent projects with remote & distributed Engineering teams
  • Create and manage project documentation
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project statuses, updates, and risks
  • Cultivate relationships across engineering teams
  • Identify solution paths for competing requirements
  • Facilitate requirements development considering technical capabilities
  • Work with backend teams to establish needs and remove blockers

Requirements For Technical Project Manager II

  • 3+ years experience as a Project Manager managing large scale projects
  • Technical literacy to follow technical discussions
  • Proficient understanding of technical architecture and workflows
  • Experience running consumer application development through SDLC
  • Knowledge of project management processes (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall)
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
