Description For Telecom Infrastructure Engineer

Join Walt Disney Parks and Resorts as a Telecommunications Infrastructure Engineer, where "We create happiness" is more than just a motto. This role focuses on telephony infrastructure design and support across multiple Disney Signature Experiences locations, both domestic and international. You'll be responsible for core voice, data services, and architecture of voice and SIP-related networks.

The position requires expertise in Avaya hardware, carrier and network services, and Genesys Cloud CX, including Oracle and Avaya Session Border Controllers. You'll perform advanced troubleshooting, manage SIP solutions, and lead technical projects while ensuring compliance with Disney's IT security standards.

Responsibilities For Telecom Infrastructure Engineer

  • Support Disney Signature Experiences technology including Avaya hardware and configuration
  • Perform level 2 and 3 troubleshooting for PBX/contact center environment
  • Manage SBC and SIP-From-Carrier solutions
  • Provide technical and project management support during upgrades
  • Act as technical liaison with vendors and internal IT partners
  • Ensure systems meet Disney IT security standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for telecommunications infrastructure

Requirements For Telecom Infrastructure Engineer

Linux
  • 3+ years telecommunications infrastructure support experience
  • 1+ year contact center technology project management experience
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, TLS, SRTP protocols
  • Proficiency in Windows environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Associate's degree in Telecommunications or related field
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid US Passport for international travel
