They're seeking a System Verification Engineer to join their R&D team, focusing on ensuring the reliability and functionality of their Dexter robot.

The role combines technical expertise in mechatronics with system verification, requiring proficiency in test automation, requirements engineering, and complex system testing. The ideal candidate will have an MSc in Mechatronics Engineering and experience with various communication protocols and testing frameworks. Responsibilities For System Verification Engineer

  • Implement, execute, and report test procedures using manual, semi-automated, and automated methods
  • Perform Software System, System Integration, and System Verification Testing
  • Translate requirements into test cases
  • Design, implement, and validate test benches for software system and system-level testing
  • Identify defects and provide preliminary impact assessments and risk analyses
  • Collaborate with Validation, Software and Mechatronic managers
  • Contribute to system-level and regulatory requirements engineering
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, procedures, and results

Requirements For System Verification Engineer

Python
  • MSc degree in Engineering – Mechatronics or similar
  • 2+ years experience in development/verification of complex mechatronics products
  • Experience with Vector Informatik products (CANoe, vTESTStudio) or equivalent
  • Experience with scripting languages (CAPL, Python or similar)
  • Expertise in requirements translation and test case creation
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (Polarion ALM, Doors)
  • Experience with CAN bus and CANopen communication layers
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (DDS, UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Understanding of V-Model development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
