They are seeking a System Verification Engineer to join their R&D team working on the Dexter surgical robot.

The role combines technical expertise in mechatronics with sophisticated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing test procedures, translating requirements into test cases, and ensuring system reliability through rigorous verification processes. Responsibilities For System Verification Engineer

  • Implement, execute, and report test procedures using manual, semi-automated, and automated methods
  • Perform Software System, System Integration, and System Verification Testing
  • Translate requirements into test cases
  • Design, implement, and validate test benches for software system and system-level testing
  • Conduct defect analysis investigations, including reproduction and regression testing
  • Collaborate with Validation, Software and Mechatronic managers on characterization tests
  • Contribute to system-level and regulatory requirements engineering
  • Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, procedures, and results

Requirements For System Verification Engineer

Python
  • MSc degree in Engineering – Mechatronics or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in complex mechatronics products
  • Experience with Vector Informatik products (CANoe and vTESTStudio)
  • Experience with scripting languages (CAPL, Python or similar)
  • Expertise in requirements management tools (Polarion ALM, Doors)
  • Experience with CAN bus and CANopen communication layers
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (DDS, UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Experience with V-Model development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • English language proficiency (French is a plus)
