DiUS, a technology consulting and product development company, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for their startup Powersensor. The role is a 12-month contract position focused on developing IoT technology to help Australian households reduce electricity bills and contribute to a low-carbon future. The ideal candidate will have a strong software & electrical/mathematical engineering background, with a PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions using C or C++, conducting research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading experiments to improve sensor technologies. The role requires proficiency in C or C++ programming, advanced engineering mathematics, and excellent communication skills. Experience with embedded design, sensors, and data collection is beneficial.
