Description For Cloud Operations Engineer

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms. You'll work on critical systems administration tasks, including cloud account provisioning, user access management, and implementation of Microsoft Active Directory solutions. The role involves both day-to-day operations and strategic improvements through automation and script development.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in cloud platforms, systems administration, and networking fundamentals. You'll need at least 5 years in IT with specific experience in cloud environments and Active Directory administration. Responsibilities For Cloud Operations Engineer

  • Provide cloud operations engineering and administration support in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
  • Perform cloud account/project provisioning procedures following scripts and SOPs
  • Resolve end-user login/access/usage issues and manage support tickets
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts and SOPs to automate repetitive tasks
  • Deploy approved release packages and break-fix solutions
  • Design and implement Microsoft Active Directory and windows-based systems
  • Review and assess network and systems performance
  • Respond to after-hours alerts and incidents

Requirements For Cloud Operations Engineer

Linux
  • Five years experience in information technology
  • Three years performing systems administration/engineering in enterprise environment
  • Two years experience performing Active Directory administration
  • Two years experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
  • Must qualify for Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
