Description For DevOps Engineer

dLocal is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in a remote position. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of a talented team working on mission-critical applications for big customers like Netflix, Amazon, Nike, Facebook, Google, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scaling infrastructure to support international growth
  • Daily interaction with engineers and participation in the development process
  • Working on infrastructure automation, performance improvements, and auto-scaling
  • Designing solutions focused on uptime, redundancy, and disaster recovery
  • Automating IaC deployment and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Jenkins

Key skills required:

  • Experience with deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Rundeck)
  • Experience deploying infrastructure in AWS cloud environments
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, Route 53, RDS, EKS, ECS, ECR, ALB, AWS Config, Step Functions, Lambda Functions, CloudFront)
  • Experience with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Linux administration skills
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud computing
