Senior Data Engineer

Docker is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering team, led by the Director of Data Engineering. The role involves transforming billions of data points from Docker products and services into actionable insights, directly influencing product strategy and development. You'll use both software engineering and analytics skills to manage data pipelines across various departments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing ETL jobs, warehouses, and event collection tools
• Building and managing the Central Data Model for reporting
• Integrating emerging methodologies and technologies
• Building data pipelines for ML and AI projects
• Enforcing SOC2 compliance across the data platform
• Supporting stakeholders and data practitioners company-wide

The ideal candidate should have:

• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in data modeling and building scalable data pipelines
• Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery
• Skills in Python, SQL, and orchestration frameworks like Airflow
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker
