Responsibilities For Full Stack FHIR Engineer

  • Build and maintain FHIR-based applications using Java and React
  • Implement and enhance APIs and services for healthcare systems data exchange
  • Create solutions using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) framework
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and FHIR-compliant features
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects independently
  • Troubleshoot FHIR integration and application functionality issues
  • Work with subject matter experts to meet clinical use cases
  • Develop system documentation and user guidance
  • Design scalable and maintainable healthcare solutions
  • Create user-friendly reports and documentation

Requirements For Full Stack FHIR Engineer

Java
React
  • Strong experience with Java and React for full-stack development
  • Proven ability to design and deploy FHIR-compliant applications
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and healthcare IT data exchange standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • 3-5 years of full-stack development experience with FHIR focus
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows and interoperability
  • Familiarity with VA-specific clinical data standards (preferred)
  • Experience with Sencha Ext JS (preferred)
