Description For DevOps Software Engineer

Join our Computational Physics division as a DevOps Software Engineer, where you'll be an integral part of our DevOps team providing software development support services to both software engineers and physicists. This role combines platform management, build and release management, and automation for scientific computing in a secure environment.

You'll work in our Calabasas, CA location, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, managing software across air-gap boundaries, and ensuring robust security practices. The position requires expertise in Python, containerization, and various development environments (Windows, Linux, OSX).

The role offers a competitive salary range of $99,705 - $124,683 plus bonus and benefits. We're looking for candidates with either a BS plus 2 years of experience or an MS in computer science or related field. Experience with GitLab CI, Conda/npm package management, and security practices is highly valued.

Responsibilities For DevOps Software Engineer

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
  • Manage automated transfer of software projects and artifacts across air-gap boundaries
  • Develop and manage build, release, and packaging workflows
  • Automate software development and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot issues in development environments across Windows, Linux, and OSX
