As an Electrical Engineer specializing in RF Systems, you'll contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of high-performance electrical subsystems. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in RF and mmWave systems, utilizing skills in schematic capture, PCB layout, and electronic system design. You'll work closely with mechanical engineers on thermal solutions and be involved in all aspects of the development process from concept to implementation.
The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in electronics circuit design, strong technical skills in RF systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance, reflecting the important nature of the work.
Located in Calabasas, CA, this position offers competitive compensation ranging from $120,715 to $150,895, plus bonus and benefits. The role involves about 20% travel and requires working in various environmental conditions. Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer: RF Systems
- Perform preliminary and critical designs based on COTS or custom active and passive parts
- Perform or oversee fabrication and testing
- Schematic Capture, PCB layout, fabrication documentation and module assembly
- Work with Mechanical Engineering to develop thermal solutions
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
- Interact with vendors and colleagues
Requirements For Electrical Engineer: RF Systems
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Experience with Schematic Capture
- Experience with PCB Layout
- At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and testing electronics circuits
- Experience simulating electronics in Spice, ADS, or similar software
- Working knowledge of electronic sub-assemblies
- Understanding of RF components and devices
- Knowledge of microelectronic packaging/integration and thermal management
- Proficiency with computers and engineering workstations
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Ability to travel 20% of time
- Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces
- Visual and hearing acuity required
