Entry Web Developer

DonationXchange, a product of SnapSolutions, is seeking an Entry Web Developer to join their team in Chicago. This role offers a great opportunity for developers starting out in .NET and web development. You'll work closely with the product manager and top management team to design and maintain cutting-edge event and donation management tools used by major league teams, corporations, and charitable organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging in web creative design and development
• Assisting in the development of new products and enhancing the current product suite
• Providing technical support for existing online products
• Managing customer service requests via phone and email

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science & Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
• Strong technical skills in web development
• Experience with .NET development, particularly MVC, ASP.NET, and VB.NET
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with creative web and graphic design
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach

This position offers the opportunity to work in a small, fun, downtown office environment. You'll gain hands-on experience with all aspects of the development cycle while assisting major sports franchises, non-profits, and corporations with their fundraising, event planning, and corporate social responsibility needs.
