Electrical Engineer - Autonomy & Robotics

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Autonomy & Robotics team, where you will play a crucial role in developing autonomous delivery robots from the ground up. As an Electrical Engineer at DoorDash Labs, you will be part of a team that is passionate about building robots and complex electromechanical systems. You'll be involved in every aspect of the development process, from product definition to PCB production, and will have the chance to make a significant impact on a billion-dollar business.

Your responsibilities will include architecting and designing a wide range of electrical systems for our next-generation delivery robots. You'll work closely with our Hardware Engineering and Technician teams to prepare for launch, ensuring that our autonomous delivery platform is ready to meet the challenges of real-world deployment.

We're looking for candidates with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of industry experience, preferably in the autonomous vehicle or automotive sectors. You should have expertise in DC power management systems, various communication protocols (ethernet, PCIe, USB, etc.), and RF/antenna systems. Experience with electric vehicle or mobile robotics safety systems is also crucial.
