DoorDash is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their Social team in transforming the DoorDash app from a transactional platform to an inspirational and engaging discovery destination.   • Lead a full-stack team at the intersection of product, technology, and business
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmap and vision
  • Coach and empower engineers while maintaining high engineering standards

  • Scale the team through recruiting, retention, and development

Requirements For Engineering Manager - Social Team

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of industry experience, including minimum of 2 years of management experience
  • Experience managing engineering disciplines across BE + Android + iOS + Web
  • Strong product sense and ability to be a thought partner
  • Hands-on experience with non-technical stakeholders and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work with product and business partners
  • Ability to guide and grow an engineering team in a rapidly changing environment
