Responsibilities For Engineering Manager - Social Team
- Lead a full-stack team at the intersection of product, technology, and business
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmap and vision
- Coach and empower engineers while maintaining high engineering standards
- Create technical vision and alignment for execution
- Scale the team through recruiting, retention, and development
- Lead development of shopping journey across various interfaces
- Spearhead technical roadmap and implementation
- Ensure development of robust and accessible engineering systems
Requirements For Engineering Manager - Social Team
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of industry experience, including minimum of 2 years of management experience
- Experience managing engineering disciplines across BE + Android + iOS + Web
- Strong product sense and ability to be a thought partner
- Hands-on experience with non-technical stakeholders and cross-team collaboration
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work with product and business partners
- Ability to guide and grow an engineering team in a rapidly changing environment
