Machine Learning Engineer - Experimentation Platform

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Experimentation Platform Team, which develops industry-leading platforms enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and engineering, focusing on building cutting-edge experimentation algorithms that power DoorDash's three-sided marketplace.

The position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse team of experienced veterans in backend, web, statistical, and data infrastructure engineering. You'll be responsible for developing and expanding statistical and ML models that support large-scale experimentation, implementing advanced causal inference techniques, and applying modern ML approaches including LLMs and semi-supervised learning.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in both theoretical and practical aspects of machine learning, with at least 3 years of industry experience or 1+ years post-PhD. You'll need deep knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, and Kotlin, plus experience with big data technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
