Senior Staff Engineer, Data Platform

DoorDash's Data Platform team is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead their data infrastructure initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and platform development, focusing on building scalable solutions for data ingestion, computation, storage, and analytics. The ideal candidate will drive the technical roadmap for data infrastructure, mentor senior engineers, and make strategic decisions that impact the entire organization. You'll be responsible for building data products that serve engineers, data scientists, and analysts across DoorDash, while ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Key focus areas include data ingestion (batch and real-time), data compute & transformation, data storage (warehouse, data lake, OLAP), querying infrastructure, data compliance, quality, and governance. You'll also work on Machine Learning Infrastructure, Experimentation Platform, and Knowledge Graphs.
